My screen turns orange after it comes out of sleep (almost like when you put a speaker next to a monitor) and then it just fades away. It also does this when I start the machine and if I turn the contrast all the way down then turn it back up. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

That happens with my previous Pismo (that has a Samsung display, while Pismos with a LG display seems to be free of that issue), people use to say that is a matter of time the display is dead, I am not 100% sure since the Pismo display is still working, just has the pink screen issue, maybe it is just the display inverter (it is not expensive, about $90).

what PowerBook / iBook are you talking about ?.

if the brightness level is low, does the screen show the orange look ? ( I used to have the Pismo at maximum brightness level to avoid it).
