okay, don't laugh about this thread but I wanna figure out how to properly use those two clips on my power adapter (you know the ones on the two corners).

are they stands so they adapter won't touch the floor? if so, they aren't terribly stable, eh?
are they there so I can hang the adapter onto something?
are they there to scratch my back?

PLEASE save me from this agony and show some pictures of how you use them!

You wrap the cord around them when you pack the thing up for travel.

You'd be brave to wrap the cord around them. Personally I treat that cord as if it's as delicate as a spider's thread (ok actually more delicate). For travelling coil the cable carefully and store the whole adaptor in a box. Or use a non apple adaptor. Way too fragile.

I just use the clips to wrap the cord also... Its not that fragile and ive never had one break.

I don't know what's more surprising: that someone couldn't figure out what those hooks are for, or that someone treats their power adapter as gently as a baby.

Haha, cool, It took me a couple of weeks to discover the button on the battery on the bottom of the PB, and that it displayed battery charge. Oh well, how else could one learn but ask ...

The Duo 230 also has same cord clips and they are still intact 8 years later!

Ha ha, this pb is my baby! I treat it's power adaptor like it's umbilical.

I broke one after two days of owning it doing nothing strenuous to it whatsoever. It's not that uncommon if you check out the apple discussion boards.

It was a miserable week with a brand new (to me) pb and nothing to charge it with.
