My Au PB 15 isn't charging. When plugged in, the adapter is orange, but the computer will not charge. If I tilt the plug-in, I can get it to turn green and get power. If I let go--back to orange and no charge.

Is it a short in the adapter or an internal problem? Or, perhaps, something w/ the OS?

If its the adapter, is it covered under Applecare?

Sounds like the adapter- how old is it?

It's a year old.

But if there was a short in the adapter, would the orange/green ring be able to light up?

Hmm... I see. Now that I re-read I can see how it might be the connector inside the PB. Anyway you can take it to an Apple store or try another adaptor to see if it does the same thing?

Do you have Apple Care, if so- don't hesitate to call them on this- adaptor or PB.
