Hello all, I've been using my 12" 1GHZ Powerbook for nearly a year now and really loving it. It's been my favorite computer ever, and I've taken it with me all the over the place on vacation (including Europe) and gotten a ton of use out of it at school and home. It's actually become a desktop replacement for me, and I don't find myself disliking its small size at all.
Anyways, my poor battery is getting a bit long in the tooth and a bit short in the duration, so I'm looking to upgrade. What are the options available, besides purchasing a new stock battery from Apple for $129 (or presumably a bit cheaper via a 3rd party)? I'd really like to find a battery with higher capacity and "assume" that there must be such a thing available somewhere. With my original battery I could get a good full day's worth of notetaking at school if I kept the screen turned down low and disabled all the networking ports (and let it go to sleep really fast). With that technique a new, higher-capacity battery could really kick butt.
Anyways, all help and suggestions much appreciated.
