if so what do you think? im thinking about getting this bag since a timbuk2 bag is a little out of my range (i wont be using the bag everyday, only for vacations and such)

will i be able to hold my charger, usb light, BT mouse, mouse pad, ipod and some pens/notepads in?

thanks

also if anyone could get some pics of theirs up that would be great (preferibly of the interior of the case)

thanks !

I have the sportfolio II bag for my 12" and I don't think think it wont be a problem carrying all that stuff around with it, but I personally wouldn't. It's a little snug and the pad better be small cuz it would be a real pain to fit in a 8.5 x 11" notebook in it. You can, but like I said, I wouldn't.

I have the Sportsfolio Sleeve and find that stuff form Marware is of good quality. IF you're going to be taking a ton of stuff with you, maybe you should look into getting a backpack designed for holding a 12in laptop. I stick my 12in in my backpack, which also holds books and all the extra stuff I need.

well i really just need it to hold the essentials, the power adaptor, my bt mouse, and a pad for it

i like the timbuk2 commute bag, however it seems a little big, and on the expensive side considering i will only use this bag say once or twice a month.

For anyone living in Canada, CompuSmart has by far the best price for the Sportfolio sleeve... I paid 35 bux (+tax) CDN... that's even cheaper than most online American stores...

As for those in the states, your best bet would be to purchase Marware goods online.. I've noticed that specialized mac stores like to pad their margins on accessories such as the Sportfolio sleeve... That's just my observation in the Toronto area, maybe doesn't apply to ppl in New York City, etc..

well none of the apple stores in ny or nj have the marware case, they all seem to push the timbuk2 case, which although i have no problem buying for $100, i dont think it's worth the investment considering it will get used for vacationing/traveling only (mostly in a car unless going on a plane to a certain destination)

if i had to carried my pb everyday i would definatly have a timbuk2 bag or something better.

I use a Sportfolio II with my 12" Powerbook, it's a great little bag. I like the shoulder strap, it's well padded, and there's lots of room in the outside pocket with a zipper.

Check out these pics:

Pocket (iPod, laser pointer, mini-VGA adaptor, mini-RCA adaptor)

Exterior (notice the small bulge from the stuff in the pocket)

yea i think those pics you just posted made my decision, i will probably order that bag in the blk/graphite. I just got a new desk tonight from iKEA (Mikael)

im also going to get a iCurve, apple keyboard (probably wired so i can take advantage of the extra usb ports), and a hub(anyone know of a nice usb2.0 hub???)

thanks for posting pics!

Here's the hub I use, it's funky when the USB plugs light up and goes well with my Ikea desk:
