My friend just got a new powerbook, and switched on my recomendation.
However, after the welcome screen it asks her if she is upgrading her mac to a new powerbook, or a new user.

The thing is, the trackpad won't respond to allow her to select anything. Plugging in a USB mouse works ok, but the trackpdad seems to be off or dead.

any tips?

Apple care it. trackpad troubles aren't unheard of.

i guess she'll call tech support in the morning. what a bummer. haha.
