Hi!

I have a new iBook G4 being shipped to me as I type this, and I'm trying to figure out which RAM upgrade to buy.

At Crucial's website, they list two different 512MB chips. One is "recommended" through their "memory advisor," the other is just listed. I can't see a difference between the two, but the recommended chip is 30 bucks more. (And it's labeled as "unbuffered," but I assume the other chip is also unbuffered.)

Is there any reason to spend and extra $30?

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Mike
