does anyone have this problem:

on my new powerbook g4 15" superdrive, the keyboard seems to stick under the "fn, ctl, shift and caps lock" keys. haven't spilled anything on it either. hmmmm what could be the problem? do you guys think it's worth getting it fixed? have you guys experienced this?

thanks for the replys in advanced!!!

A couple weeks old 15" superdrive from apple store:

This happens on my right apple key, but none others. The key comes back up, but about 1 to 2 seconds later, I can hear the actually button come back up under the key. I am almost tempted to take the key off and look at it, but a little scared.

carefully take off the keycap and clean out underneath the key and check that the plastic scissors that hold the keycap is in correctly and has a bit of a "springing" action (if not, the scissors are probably broken). I would be highly surprised if the actual button itself is sticking, as they are just soft keys basically. More likely the scissors are broken or have came loose, or there is dirt/gunk underneath the keycap causing it to stick (which seems likely since they are all sticking in the same general area).

If you take the keycaps off, gently pull up from the top of the key (side closest to screen) and pop it off carefully.
