Kinda happy, but annoyed. Happy that Apple replaced my LCD, but it has a problem that I didn't have on the first one.

On this LCD, the color because extremely unsaturated in the lower right corner, and then fairly unsaturated along the bottom. When I have a plain color background it really shows up. The top is a nice blue or red, the bottom is sort of a pale version of that color (and in some places just gray.)

I'm hoping that this can be fixed or something since I bought the laptop sepcifically for doing Photoshop. Any suggestions? Is this a problem covered by the warranty?

(First PowerBook I've ever owned, first LCD too.)

LCDs should be producing a unified color when looked at from straight on. If yours has this issue when looking at it, I'd look to have it replaced again. It could indicate a pressure problem somewhere, and that can lead to worse problems over time. The white spots were caused by pressure in the wrong places on the back of the LCD.

Wow, thanks for the fast response. I'll drop it off at my local AppleStore tomorrow morning. Using a sort of indigo color, it REALLY comes out. The top left corner is nearly black with the bottom right corner a light blue.
