I've just managed to get a splodge of biro ink on my iBook 500. It's on the wrist-rest. I've wiped it with water, but there's still an obvious blue stain there. Any tips on how to get it off?

How's about trying the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser that everyone keeps recommending...

I don't think you can get that over here, but thanks for the tip, I'll look into it.

Ah...Oxford as in "across the pond". Maybe any kind of white art eraser will work. Check an art supply store.

Good idea! I didn't have an eraser to hand (or rubber as we call them over here ), but I remembered blu-tack works remarkably well as an eraser, and indeed after quite a bit of effort almost all trace of the biro is gone. Cheers,

Just for the record, and for anyone else who needs to know, the British equivalent of the 'Mr. Clean Magic Eraser' seems to be made by the cleaning-agent-manufacturer Flash, and is (IIRC) sold under the name of 'Flash Power Eraser' or something of that nature.
