what are peoples feelings on rev a 17 inchers? good/bad. should i stay away from one when purchasing?

I have a rev a 1Ghz. Been a great machine for me, it's 18 months old now, not a single issue.

My previous 1 Ghz 17" was a great machine but it did develop an intermittant screen anomally that was apparently not worth the effort for Apple to pin down and fix; after 3 tries they gave me a brand new 1.5 Ghz 17" and now I am even happier. The screen is flawless as the rest of the laptop. and handrest heat or noise is not an issue. I hardly use it as a laptop but as a desktop replacement.

i've had more than my fair share of computer problems in the past 2 months and i'm finally getting my companyh to spring for one for me. i see mas res q has what they called refurbished machines (basically theyre machines they fix and re-sell) and theyre seemingly pretty well priced ($1879 for a 17 inch rev a). i just wanna make sure before i make the jump that i'm going to be happy with it. also, how do you think the 17 inch stacks up against the 15? is the 17 too bulky to lug around, i plan to do my fair share of travelling and id like this thing to accompany me pretty much everywhere i go.
