I leave my Pismo plugged in all the time, and I sleep it at night and while I'm at work. I have two batteries - the original Apple one, and one from BTI. They both stay in at all times.

A about a week ago, I returned from work and woke up the computer. For some reason, the battery indicator said 97% instead of the usual 100%. I thought that it needed to be reconditioned or something, so I drained the batteries by leaving the computer on and unplugged for a while.

I plugged the AC adapter in, and my BTI battery (in the left bay) charged up to 16% and won't go past there. I tried all different combinations with the batteries and bays, and it appears that it won't make a difference. Last night, I left only the Apple battery in the left bay, and it never went past 0%. (The BTI's 16% and the Apple's 0% cause the battery indicator to display 8%)

So I have come to the conclusion that the problem is not one of my batteries. I also noticied that the battery indicator sometimes shows the a power plug for both batteries, but at the moment, the one on the right has a lightning bolt in it. Seems like it's trying to charge, but it can't.

Any ideas?

Start out by trying a PMU reset.

ACSA 10.4/10.3, ACTC 10.3, ACHDS 10.3

I've already tried that, with no luck.
I think it may be the PMU board.
