On my Rev. B 12" PowerBook, I would put in an audio CD sometimes to rip in iTunes using the slot-load SuperDrive. Sometimes, the CD would spin down after a period of inactivity. But then I would try to play or use the disk again in iTunes, and it starts to spin up, I would hear a very noticeable "clunk" from the drive, almost as if the disk or drive mechanism hit something, a sound which I am not used to hearing from other drives. This only happens with certain audio CDs, while other audio CDs would be fine when spinning up, and ONLY in iTunes. When I eject the disk, the discs themselves seem in good physical shape, and not scratched by the drive. DVDs, most audio CDs, and data CDs are fine and don't cause the drive to do this. All discs work fine.

Has this ever happened to you guys? Is the normal, or a sign that my drive is malfunctioning?
