i recently had the battery for my 1.25 aluminum exchanged because of loss of capacity. (got the tip about testing it with the terminal command and capacity meter on these boards, thanks.)
i've run the new battery down until the computer sleeps to recalibrate it a couple of times and reset my pmu. the weird thing is, the computer shuts down completely soon after. the old battery always kept enough juice in reserve to stay asleep for much longer - like overnight.
is the calibration not happening correctly? is there anything i can do about it?
