Has anyone any ideas? I have an 800Mhz G4 iBook, X.3.5 with a combo drive. I was watching a DVD the other night and when it finished I tried to eject it but it wouldn't come out. Now it sounds like it is about to come out but then it just stays and the DVD is remounted on the desktop. I tried rebooting and holding the left mouse button down at startup and trying to use a paperclip on the edge of the drive (where the small hole is) to force it out (nothing happens at all when I do that).
I would be very grateful for any suggestions.

try the little pinhole thing there? straighten a paperclip and give it a whirl. i have a g3 ibook, so i couldnt really tell you.

on restart hold down the eject key, that should spit the DVD out.

has the dvd got a sticker on it? that might be causing it not to be ejected.
