i have a 12" revC alubook, my girlfriend has a 15" pb;
same series, similar configs. both 10.3.5.

when i use the arrow keys to scroll (safari, for example), the scrolling is fluid.
for her, you have to keep hitting the down arrow to scroll down.

any ideas why the different behavior? (and what i can do to change hers)...

I don't think this is related to the machine itself; it's more likely her OS configuration.

On her computer check: System Preferences> Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard ensure that "Delay Until Repeat" is not set to "off".

interesting, would never have thought to check that. it WAS off, and now is...
on.
