I have a G-3 400 mhz machine running 10.3.5 right now and I am lookng to do some upgrades to it.

I am looking at putting this or this processor up grade in it. I do not have the fire wire machine though. Does anyone know if it will work?

Second question is does anyone know what the max amount of ram I can stuff into it is ? I have 384 in it now.

edit to fix typo's

1)Those will DEFINITLY NOTwork in your machine unless it is a pismo
2)The major limitation on a machine like that is your harddrive, which is a good upgrade option if you're just looking for a general overall speed boost.

HI QUaley2,

The Lombard can take a maximum of 512MB in total (2x256MB SDRAM PC-66 or higher)

The Pismo (firewire) has a limit of 1GB in total.

The Wallstreet models i am not certain of...

Good Luck.
