Hello guys,

This is my very first post here. So, hi :-)

I'm about to buy the new upgraded 12" iBook. I still have my 5-year-old TFT screen from my aging IBM PC. It's an NEC MultiSync 400V (an analog model). Can I connect this monitor with the iBook? Do I need any special adapters &c.?

Many thanks for your help in advance. I'm looking forward to many interesting discussions in this forum.

The iBook comes with a VGA adapter. As long as your monitor uses a standard VGA plug, you should be good to go.

Welcome to NN!

As DaBeav says, as long as the screen has a standard VGA connection you will be fine!
