I know, I know, if you guys had a dollar for every one of these posts...

anyway, I really want an iBook, I'm starting grad. school, so I get the student discount...

iBook 12'
1.2 ghz
512 Ram
60 gig (i'd recommend this to everyone, 30 doesn't get too far)
DVD-ROM/CDRW
AirPort Extreme
also getting office 2004, love excel
right now, i'm considering the APP enrollment kit for the 3 yrs of service, is this worth it?

thanks guys!
How do I convince my wife to let me get an iBook?

Go for it! It's a no-brainer. I got the 1ghz G4 three weeks ago and had to pay extra for Airport Extreme. You're getting a faster computer with AE built-in and for even less.

Get more ram, if you can. And bluetooth, or a bt adaptor is also nice.

You can add AppleCare anytime in the first year, but it is a good investment for any portable.
