I have had my Powerbook for less than a year and half now.

I first had to have my logic board replaced within 6 months, and then at about a year, my logic board was replaced again with a bunch of other things, and now a year and a few months later, I have noticed a white spot forming on my 17". I have bought the extended Apple Care....

I have read in the past on the forum people being given new powerbooks after a certain amount of repairs, just wanted to know what their policy was.

Thanks!

I believe that it has to go in for the same problem/parts 3 times. They replaced your logic board twice, and this time it will most likely be the display. You MAY have a shot, but I think it's a 3 strike rule.

I bought a 1 GHz PB 12 and it had a bad display (or board, cable). I got it clearance from Fry's. Fry's had (I discovered) sent it in once for the display, then I did twice more. The display was replaced 3x and the logic board 2x. After time two they said, give us one more, after time 3 they sent me a new 1.3 Ghz one.
