This website has the keys you should be able to order the single shift key.

If these are the wrong keys let me know and I will see what I can come up with.

sorry about that for some reason I didn't notice that I have been looking for a while and can't seem to find the individual keys for a g4. I did find a new keyboard assembly. This i am sure that you have found as well. This is the cheapest that I could find as well sorry man wish that i could be of a little more help. One thing that you might try too is to call an apple store or repair center close buy and see if they have any thing like that you can buy from them.

Does anyone know if they sell a backlit keyboard for the current ibook models? I would make use of that feature.

I have been looking for that for a while, as I think it would be a nice feature to have on my iBook especially at night. but I can't find anything not even a glow in the dark keyboard but oh well. I will keep looking and let you know if i find anything or figure out a way to integrate the pb keys with the iBook or something along those lines.

check out link this to make your iBook's keyboard glow. Assuming 150 yen=$1, then the entire mod should cost less than $20. I might try it next month.
