i have a G4 400mhz powerbook, and i really love it, but i would like to have the 1280 resolution that the 667mhz and up enjoy.

is there any hack or nearly impossible way to do this?

i found a thread that answers this question, so never mind.

i'm still curious, if i could get a new screen with 1280, would it work on my powerbook?
as ever,

I don't see why it wouldn't. I think your better off asking these questions in the Mod forum.

no, if you grafted the 1280 screen onto your Powerbook you'd end up with the 1152x768 video image and then garbage on the remaining bottom and side border.
However, 1152 screens will work perfectly fine on Powerbooks that originally used the 1280 screen.
