I ran a thorough set of Tech Tool Pro 4 test on my TiBook yesterday, and was concerned to see that in the Drive "S.M.A.R.T." panel, I had one failing area for Load Cycle Count. The score was 28.

I searched the Apple support site for Load Cycle Count, but nothing turned up. Is this something I can fix somehow? Is my drive doomed to shut down soon?

if its failing the s.m.a.r.t. test then it is definitely on its way out.
