I have to get a new exteranl archive drive as I keep building files along side of my DVD archive.

I am looking at the Lacie 500GB Extreme as the speed looks good and it is within the budget.

.....Now what it this about "Plug and play RAID 0 array- no software to configure"???

Fill me in, yeah?

The RAID is controlled by the external enclosure, so the OS sees it as a single 500gb drive.
