Hi,
I'd like to buy a new (or something like that, I need it to have a warraty) iBook 12" crystal combo 800MHz (the last crystal model with 32MB VRAM).
I'm in Europe, do you know where I can buy an iBook like this?

You can't get that thing anymore. You can get it on eBay however with no warranty whatsoever. Why you wanna get that particular iBook anyway? Why not the new 1.2 GHz iBook? Comes with 32MB of VRAM as well...

i saw one advertised at www.cancomuk.com, but only £50 cheaper than the newest ones (and this last crystal case iBook is a G3, tray loading optical drive). and i'm not sure if it has warranty at all.
if you're only after the crystal (not opaque) case, i think it's much better to buy the new iBook and just hunt around for a case.
alternatively you can post in the marketplace thread. someone might still have this iBook with applecare (so with 1 year+ warranty left).

I don't understand why you would buy that 'book when the new ones are a thousand times better..... But, ebay models could have warranty. We bought the wife's 800 Mhz iBook in Nov, '02 and got Applecare which means warranty until Nov '05....

That is the last fully linux-compatible iBook.
All the periferals (modem, cdwriter, airport) work great with current linux releases.
And I hope to find one at bargain price
Aren't there shops that have few unsold pieces?
