a while back someone posted a terminal command that changes it so your powerbook doesn't wake up from opening the display.

this may be a really dumb question, but i was wondering if i need to be careful with terminal commands with regard to system updates. is there any chance of the update screwing up any modifications i've made in terminal? should i undo these modifcations in terminal before installing a system update? i was just curious and was hoping to find out a definitive answer one way or another.
