Can you put a PB keyboard on a iBook?

It looks like this might be possible. I figure buy a PB keyboard on eBay and stick it on an iBook. It would look a little weird, but couple it with a keyboard skin and all should be well.

What do you all think?

It depends on which iBook you have and which PowerBook keyboard you are looking at.

For instance, the Titanium PowerBook keyboards will work on non-opaque G3 iBooks (the ones with the clear shells painted on the inside).

The newer Aluminum PowerBook keyboards will not work as they don't have the 2 tabs on the top (between the esc and F1 and the F11 and F12 keys) to pop into the iBook.

I'm sure you can mod it if you want to take the time and effort. Why not just go USB?

Well, I don't want to use an external keyboard; I'm just thinking that should I ever need to replace the iBook keyboard anyway and a PB keyboard happens to be available and it is compatible, I might consider it.
