the battery in my Pismo is toast... kaput... fried....

have to run on plug-in power... not very useful.... and certainly not very condusive to being portable

what's a good place to get a Pismo battery? do they even still make 'em? my concern is getting a battery that has been sitting on the shelves for a few years... since the Pismo is obviously no longer a current model (far from it)... and its battery form factor dissappeared with the last PB G3's....

thnx!

You have a few choices. The first is Other World Computing which is www.macsales.com. The batteries aren't cheap, but they are long life with extended duration. The other is eBay. I've purchased several batteries through them and have had reasonable success. They are much cheaper, but they aren't always brand new and thus the life and duration are never guaranteed. Hope this helps
