hey all...

my sister's ibook adapter broke, and for christmas my mom wants to get her a new one. the ibook is from a few years ago, but it's still the white-style kind, not a clamshell. who has the best deals on adapters for these? any suggestions?

thanks

Hey,
These work with your iBook:

Apple Power Adapter:
http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...amp;pfp=SEARCH

OWC Brand Power Adapter: (much cheaper)
http://eshop.macsales.com/Catalog_It...em=MICACADPTG4

Either one works well and by the way, owc computing is a very good place to buy mac accessories and RAM. Their customer service rocks, purchased RAM from them, about a yr and a half later, defective in Apple's repair center standards, but owc couldn't find any problems, but they were nice enough to send a new ram... even a newer model (in speed, pc2700), which I could now use in my Pb 1.5ghz!
(nope, i don't work for them )
15" PowerBook 1.5GHz (CTO): SuperDrive, 5400rpm 80GB 16mb Cache, 1.5GB RAM/Backlit Keyboard/Radeon 9700 128MB/MacOS X 10.4.2

I'd like to recommend Battery Tech's model: MC-PS/G4 that has detachable cables and a sleek black case. They also assert that it charges better than Apple's. I broke the vulnerable yo-yo a long time ago; this has been good for me.
