I'll tell you one thing, opening up my 12" PB in coffee shops around campus always gets the infamous "oh its soooooo cute" from girls so it's sort of an ice breaker somewhat. Maybe this should be posted in the lounge though?

My iPod got lots of 'wows' from people when I was working in the library two years ago, back before iPods were crazy popular. I met a couple of good friends that way. It was also easy to find other Mac users by their iPods. Also a good ice breaker.
My 12in gets "cute!" from lots of Japanese girls here in Japan. Just the way I like it.
