Three bright green ones right in the center spaced about 1.5" apart and one red one 2" from the right of the screen at the center. Should I even bother calling to try and have them fix it, or does Apple generally not care unless there are >5 dead pixels or something? Anyone have any experience with this? The green ones in the cente just showed up recently and they're *REALLY* bugging me.

If it's still under warranty, give the mothership a call. They will also consider placement of the dead pixels.

vinster: yes, its less than two months old, and I have AppleCare arriving on Tuesday.

Okay then, I guess I'll hault it in to the Apple store sometime this week then and have them fire it off for repair. Hope it doesn't come back with other new defects (high keys, scratches, etc...)

Try massaging them out with your fingertip first... do not use a Q-Tip.
