I just got a 512 stick for me ibook, and i tried the memtest command line ram testing program, but i get all these funky failures and errors that i dont understand. Does anyone know of a simple, straight-forward ram testing app? I remember even GuagePro for os 9 used to do that.

This is a great app. Have used it many times to make sure everything is working correctly. It will not only test ram but everything else in your mac as well.

Your iBook shipped with a hardware test CD. It's cheap and effective. Use that.
