Hey All
I just wanted to Post this, since I was Promoting this Wi-Fi card...
The Newer Belkin F5D7010 cards NO LONGER WORK!!! They show up as EN(2) with cable not connected...
I just went out and got another one since I lost the one I had before. These came in a different package, but say F5D7010 on them...
Well I played with this all last night, and NO GO!!! Oh Well...
Wish I had written down the serial number on the card that worked...
Have Great Holiday's!!!
Brad

Brad, I think I vaguely remember that someone on the Apple Discussion site->Powerbooks->TiBooks->Networking had the same problem, but only after doing the latest Airport software update.

I haven't a Pismo but use my Netgear CF MA401 (also came in a PC Card as a MA701) with a $10 CF to PC card adapter and it works fine on both my TiBook 500 and my PB 17". I use it for Kismac.
They are B not G cards though. I would look for cards with Prism 2 chipsets, or perhaps Orinco, a quick google search should reveal some lists.
I have long quit and would suggest never to buy any of belkin's garbage. They may have got a few decent overpriced products but their weak software, drivers are the worst. I've never been satified with anything they've produced.

Hey All
Yea, I've got AirPort 4.1 and on another drive(Bootable)AirPort 1.2.1(if I remember correctly the one the card used to work with it). Doesn't work with either...
The Newer cards have the LED's on the Black plastic close to the metal card module... The Older cards or card that used to work had the LED's on the Fat part of the Plastic near the end.
I'm looking for a "G" card, already have the AirPort installed.
All Prism 2 chipsets cards may not work from what I've found out... So be careful.
Looking for a card I can buy from one of my local stores like Fry's, Best Buy's or Mac Mall...
Funny the Older Belkin cards work by just putting them in, this was on OS X 10.3.4. I just put it in an it showed up in Network setup..
This is a New install on a New 80gb drive on my Pismo with the 10.3.7 update... Wondering if this Newer setup is the problem... Is there something I need to do to install the Newer HardWare???
Hope Everyone had Great Holiday's!!!
Thanks!!!
Brad

I'm using a Belkin 54G PC Card in my Pismo at the moment. It is the version with the LEDs on the fat part of the plastic. There's also a note on the side of the box that says it's compatible with OS X.
There are no drivers included and it was recognized by OS X 10.3.6, but I had to remove the internal AirPort card to get it working (two AirPort network ports showed up in the network settings and I couldn't disable the older card).

Hey vinster
I was told by one of the Mod guys that you could somehow exclude on of the Wi-Fi cards, but since I haven't gotten a card yet, I haven't been able to work it out. But it seems reasonable...
You got lucky, if you just got that card... I've called all around and nobody in my area has one...
Great Holiday's!!!

I bought a Belkins F5D7010, with the LEDs on the fat portion, Saturday at the local Staples. Price was $20 with the included $30 rebate. Works like a charm in my TiBook 867.

I have a USB connector that plugs into the phone line to access DSL made by 2wire and their drivers make it show up as EN(2) as well with no cable connected but it still works. Interesting.
