I've noted that the 12" PowerBook doesn't come with an sVideo output built into the system.

Is it still possible to use sVideo out with it?

Is it possible to output to the TV at all?

(Seems that there are more differences between the 12" PB and the 15" PB than there are between the 12" iBook and the 12" PB). Hmmm ....

There is an adapter Dongle that gives S-VHS and Composite video.
They run about $30.00.
I have seen them at the Apple store and CompUSA.

It's actually $19.00. Also make sure you get the one that is specifically for the Powerbook G4 12". That one that goes from Mini-DVI to TV Out as opposed to Mini-VGA found in the iBooks and I guess older pbooks... I made that mistake and had to switch em.

New Powerbooks don't come with the adapter?

My Rev. A 12" (867 MHz) came with the necessary dongle. That was mini-VGA, though, of course.

The PB comes with two dongles.
One is VGA and the other is Mini-DVI to DVI.
The Video one is not included at least in any one I have seen.
