Powerbook G4 error code logic board

I have no sound. I did the hardware test and showed error code of logic board error code 21ss/1/5:ox42(5). Can i repair this myself, my PB is over 1 yo.

Only if you buy a new logic board and want to put it in yourself.

you'll have to call apple and get a quote on an out-of-warranty repair. or if it wasn't that too long ago from the one year mark, maybe they can help you out somehow. but yeah, nothing much you can really besides mucking around the insides and risking more damage.
