Anyone know how to enable 1440x1050 as a resolution choice via the monitor port on the 15 inch Powerbook? I prefer to run my 21 inch CRT at work at that resolution as a confortable choice between 1280x960 and 1600x1200. I know the CRT can do it as the windows footrest PC on another identical monitor is running dine at that resolution.

Your monitor has to support that resolution. otherwise you'll probably have to do the defauly 4:3 that is traditionally found with CRT's. The DVI port can output high resolutions, large enough for the apple 23" monitor.

Oops, I mean the 1400x1050 resolution. This choice doesn't show up when attched to the CRT. It gives 1280x960, then jumps way up to 1600x1200. I'd like the middle of the road resolution.
