it isn't that big of a deal but it gets on my nerves at night. (only because it really reminds me that it's acting up by not coming on)


i have a 12" 1ghz powerbook. if i close the lid putting the pb to sleep the white light doesn't normally come on. i have to close the lid pretty firmly to get it to turn on right.

anyone else have similar problems?

I have the same machine and I haven't noticed such problems. I'd try the usual PRAM and PMU resets and see what that does for you.
NOW YOU SEE ME! 2.4 MBP and 2.0 MBP (running ubuntu)
