I've got the 12" powerbook G4 and a superdrive. I can't figure out how to burn DVDs. I know how to burn CDs. But I dont know how to get a DVD onto my computer without using a burning program (I do not know of any DVD burning program either) and anytime I try to copy and paste files, it stops me from transfering all the files.
Please Help me!

Mac OS X help is your friend. You burn DVDs just like you would CDs: insert the disk, drag files to it, eject and burn. Or you can use a commercial program like Toast or Disk Utility located in your Utilities folder in your Applications folder. This thread will probably be locked because this is not a Powerbook specific question.

If you are talking about burning commercial DVDs for "backup" You need "Popcorn" by Roxio

If you want to burn DVD's of your home movies, Roxio Toast is the way to go. You select the type of DVD you want to burn i.e. data, audio, video, then add the files and press burn. Really easy. Hope this helps.
