I am going to college soon (early Sep) and want to get an iBook. Now I am holding off simply buying it now because I don’t want to hear about a price drop/upgrade in a few months. Do you think my hesitance is warranted? Will Apple upgrade it between now and Sep?

If so what do you think the upgrade will be?

Thanks

Apple has been on a 6 month update cycle for the iBook for a few years now. It was just updated in Oct. so it "should" be updated again in April. I would wait until the next update. I can't see a design change for the iBook line anytime soon but who ever really knows about that. Also, if you wait till the Summer, Apple usually has a deal called Cram n' Jam where you can get a rebate/discount by buying a PowerBook or iBook and an iPod.

JoKell is right about the one at the mall in Short Pump. Also, there is a place in the Fan called Capitol Mac. Here is their website:

Also, CompUSA is not far from the Short Pump Mall. You can find games fairly cheap there sometimes. Just don't expect a wide variety of Apple related products.

I myself live in North Delta, but the only place with Apple computers in Delta/Surrey area I know of is London Drugs.
