.....so i've had an ibook now for about 3 weeks, and i can't believe how happy i am with it!! i've actually signed into a forum!!
oh well. anyhow, this is a great forum. i love the tips and support. i've just got the base 1.2 ghz 30 gig 256mb 12"model (for portability). i'm a ludite, so this thing compared to my pc is not only fast, but even better, isn't windows. hwo is getting sick of windows? i dig the way everything looks and feels. anyhow, is it obvious i'm excited about my decision?
couldn't understand how to add photo to signature

Welcome to the club! I feel the same way after getting my brand new 1 GHz iBook (it was on a really good sale).
I do love the Mac platform, always been a big fan of it. Glad you've come over, and hope you have a lot of good times with your new Mac!

Only thing PC users can hold against Mac users is their faster processors but you can't really even compare the two seeing how a 1GHz Mac is Probably faster than a 1.8P4 or something like that. Tell your friends to stop feeding you bs and to let you enjoy your computer and for them to enjoy their's . . . after they reformat it, check and try to get rid of virus', deal with crappy XP and all the other things that we as Mac users don't have to worry about.

It probably would be possible to insert a Bluetooth module into your iBook post-sale. The installation is probably tricky, but doable. The trouble is getting your hands on the part! If, however, the Apple BT modules are some relative common BT component, you may be in luck.

Just get a D-Link USB Blutetooth adaptor. Not most sano setup, but better than nothing.
