hey all, I was all happy the other day I was getting a Pismo from a friend.
I got it, it worked great, but I wanted to do a reinstall of Panther.
since this computer has no optical drive at the moment, I installed via Target Disk Mode from my tower and it went without a hitch.
after the install, I rebooted and controlled the Pismo via firewire(TDM) on my G4 Tower. working great.
when I reboot the Pismo on it's own, it gets to the grey screen with apple logo, then immediately shows the 'prehibatory' sign (circle with a slash thru it). that's it, nothing beyond that.
Anything I should/can do? gosh, this thing was fantastic yesterday, dunno what went down.
The Pismo is a 400MHz, 256MB, 6gig HD, running (or trying to run) 10.3.7.
any help is extra appreciated, and anythingyou want me to do or test I shall do.
