If anyone could let me know where would be a great place to get a decent cheap one. Or what do you guys have to say about the 12"'s I am looking in to getting one in the next couple of days so please resond back ASAP.
THank you all
If price is an issue and you really want the 15", you've got perfect timing. Since Apple just released the new Powerbooks, you can get the previous model for cheaper now. On outpost.com for example, the previous 15" combo drive goes for around $1699 I think. That's about $300 cheaper than the new base 15". Granted it's slower than the current model but not by much.
As for the 12", I just bought the new one tonight! It's replacing a 15" Titanium PowerBook G4. So far I love the little guy! Runs pretty cool so far, fans do come on but they're not as obnoxious as most other laptop fans I've heard. Anything you want to know specifically?
Which one you get probably will depend mostly on how you're gonna use it.
