Hi all, I've just recently migrated from a 12" powerbook to a 15" inch RevD. combodrive, and I am having a hard time getting used to the fact that my f9, and f10 keys now have an extra function (adjusting keyboard brightness). Is there a way to set it so that f9 and f10 ONLY do not do their extra functions? In other words, I want my f1 through f5 to still do screen brightness and volume control but i want f9-f11 to do expose functions ALL without pressing the fn button.

The only way that I know of is to use the fn key. I use it with no problems. It'll just take some getting used to.
I gotta have more cowbell.

You can switch the behavior for ALL the function keys to be either F1-F11 (and use the fn key to do brightness/volume/etc.) *or* brightness/volume/etc (and use the fn key to do F1-F11) in System Preferences (I forget which one...I'm without my Mac at the moment...probably Keyboard or something ) but I don't think you can change them individually. Add-on software, anyone?
