I have replaced my old 1.0 Ghz Tibook with a new 1.67 Ghz Powerbook. I had purchased several chargers (home, office, briefcase). Can I use them with the new Powerbook? Or does the new Powerbook have different power requirements which requires me to use the new charger?

While not a direct answer to your question, you may find the following link helpful.

AFAIK the new PowerBooks _require_ 65watt adapters.

The older power adaptors will work on the newer Powerbook. However, what occurs will depend on the laptop state.
If the laptop is powered down and the battery is low, the 45w power adaptor will charge the battery.
If the laptop is on, the power adaptor will power the system but won't charge the battery much, if at all. It is also possible depending on what you are doing that the battery could start to slowly drain. I used a 45w adaptor when I went on an international flight, and playing a game drained the battery about 1% every 10-20 minutes.

My 1 GHz TiBook, circa 11/02, came with a 65 W power adaptor. You son't specify which 'book you have, so yours must have been a model prior to mine.
The Apple link given in asxless' post only gives adaptor listing up through the 1.5 GHz powerbook upgrades, which still used the same 65 W adaptor as my 1 GHz TiBook. Do the 1.67 GHz 'books use a different power adaptor?
