This is a weird question, but is it possible to change the position of the screen on a PowerBook, ala a CRT? I just noticed that my Finder toolbar is tilted slightly! And since the display has no controls like a CRT monitor does, I can't fix it! There's more black line running along the top edge of the screen of one side than the other! Which is extremely strange.

Any advice?

I basically need to be able to adjust the geometry of the display, is that even possible on a PowerBook? If not, then I have to take the computer to an Apple Store and that really sucks.

I'm pretty sure there is no cure without sending it in. Hopefully somebody could shed some light, but I highly doubt it.

Your LCD panel must not be mounted quite right in the frame. This is not the same as a CRT. Pixels are specific in LCDs. They can't be shifted like in a CRT. Time to go to the Apple store.

Thanks for your help guys...I think I am going to let it slide since my friend showed me his 12" iBook and it's the same. It's probably not extreme enough for the Apple Store to do anything about it.

I just checked my Rev. C 12" PB, and it's got the same problem. Seems like it's probably pretty common. I'd never noticed it before, and I don't really find it annoying, but still it's kind of strange.
