My hard drive was showing some issues and it wouldn't fix permissions. So I tried Drive 10 and Techtools to fix it and it didn't work. Hence, I decided to re-install the system. But when I got to the window with the option to choose a volume to install it, It wouldn't show any volume. After resetting the PRAM and still being unable to see the hard disk, I decided to buy a new hard disk and replaced the old one following the great instructions posted on the P12fixit site.
Still with a new hard disk the system will not find any volume to install it. Any clues?

If the directory structure is sufficiently corrupt, or if you have a brand new hard drive, the installer will not see anywhere to install. You have to open Disk Utility to format the drive. If Disk Utility does not see the new drive, you either have a bad cable or a bad logic board.
I suspect your old drive may not have been bad, as your description pretty clearly says that you don't know about Disk Utility.
BTW, after formatting a drive from the installer CD, you will have to reboot again before that volume will be recognized as bootable--normal driver issues (rather, the lack thereof).
Also, Tech Tool is handy for a surface scan, but Disk Warrior 3 is what you need for directory structure repair.

Detrius,
Thanks for the info, I helped me to install the system. I had to initialize the new hard drive (I did this by starting up the PB as an external drive and firewiring it to my Powermac). I'm now in the process of installation and hope not to have any issue.
BTW, I setup the old drive as an external hard drive. However, It seems to be so corrupt that when I hook it up, the finder asks me to initialize it. Will Disk Warrior help me save the drive (or the data) without initializing it?

Possibly. (That is, if Drive 10/TTP didn't cause further directory damage!) DiskWarrior is definitely the second line of defense (Disk Utility's Disk First Aid being the first), and if it can't recover the data, then it's time to use Data Rescue X (which does not fix the disk, but copies the files to another disk).
