My titanium powerbook seems to have a logic board porblem. the screen is displayed multiple times. I will be taking it down to my local apple store to verify this. What i want to know is assuming that it is the logicboard, could i replace my 867 dvi to a 1ghz dvi? i know these 2 models are from the same build family. DT&T are selling the parts and theres only a $20 difference, it would be silly not to if i can pull it off.
anyone know the answer to this?

First of all, DT&T has an exchange price and an outright purchase price. You would not be able to do an exchange, as you don't have the same part to send back. This automatically changes the price.

In addition, you aren't going to get even remotely the same price taking it to Apple.
