Does anyone else have a problem where the spacebar does not sit evenly on the keyboard? On my 12inch iBook the right side of the spacebar sits up alittle bit and it really is bothering me. Does anyone know a fix for this?

I believe it comes like this from the factory. It is most noticable when you put your head down near the keyboard level (for those that dont think they have it). It has never caused me any problems though.

The whole keyboard is usually a little bit off. It comes from the tolerances needed to allow the user (you and me) to "open the hood" and get at the RAM and AirPort slots. Not a problem, but if and when you do open the keyboard, make sure you lock it down again-sometimes it gets a little bouncy if you don't. There's also a bit of electromagnetic shielding in the keyboard that only really makes contact if it's locked down.

Yeah my 12" iBook has the same spacebar problem.. it's raised slightly on the right hand side. I took the keyboard off to try and push it down a bit, but no luck.

I didn't even so much as notice it 'til I saw this thread. Ah well - it doesn't affect anything. *shrug*
