Hello, I have a Tibook that crashed on me. So I was going to start fresh and reinstall 10.3. I went to install my upgrade copy of OS 10.3 and it said I couldn't because I already ran later version. I went back to my full copy of 10.2 and tried to install that (figured once I did that I could 'upgrade' to my 10.3 versions disc) and I keep getting a kernal panic when I try to start up from the 10.2 discs. Looked at the panic logs and it said I don't have Powerbook driver 3.5 installed. Which confused me to no end... so now I am stuck not being able to install anything... any thoughts? Oh yeah I no longer can find my restore cd's for the tibook. Alrady tried erasing the HD thought that mught solve the kernal panic.
If you try to boot from a copy of OS X that is older than your machine, you usually get that message. So, this depends on precisely which version of OS X came with your machine.
