Hello Everyone

Yesterday I joined the ranks of the Mac Community, I have my first ever Mac a 17" Powerbook - 1.5GB - Wireless Keyboard - Wireless Mouse.

I am after purchasing an iskin cover for the PB keyboard, does anyone out-there based in the U.K. know where i can purchase one from?

Naturally pictures of the Lapzilla will follow when I obtain a Digital Camera.

Hi, I bought the same machine - was too tempted by the size and price compared to a new 15" and I don't think I will miss the small processor speed difference.

What I wanted to ask though is how do you have your machine set up - on a stand or something ?

I am interested in the iCurve, but wonder whether it can support the 17" safely - its wide !

I might get a wireless keyboard too, but prefer microsoft intelli mouse - feels nice in the hand.
Do you have a feeling yet for how often the batteries need changing ?

The iCurve supports the machine very well but I would always worry that it would fall off, so i have ordered some 10mm thick plate glass to place it on.

I am at this moment using a 20" Aluminium display with the powerbook closed and it works great. The PB display is very poor, it looks washed out even after calibrating it.

So I intend to buy either a 20 or 23" Alu Display to use with my Powerbook the batteries on the mouse should last over a month and the keyboard condsiderably longer.

Regards - Zada.
